TENDER NOTICE 

SETTING UP OF VERTICAL SHAFT BRICK KILN TECHNOLOGY AT CUTTACK               

                It is proposed to set up Vertical Shaft Brick Kiln Technology and other related machineries to manufacture clay bricks as a Demonstration Centre in and around Cuttack by MSME-DI, Govt. of India, Cuttack.  The capacity of the Demonstration Centre will be 10000 bricks/day (Double Shaft) along with the production machinery such as single screws jacks for unloading of the bricks, unloading trolleys, brick making machines for clay mixing and moulding.  The interested Companies/Technology Provider may send their sealed offer on or before   29.2.2008.  The offer should contain the following:

1.                    Cost of Vertical Shaft Brick Kiln (Double shaft) with refractory lining that includes know how Erection, Commissioning, Trial Production, Training, Soil Testing, Production Shed etc.  (Turn key basis) with all  materials

2.                    Cost of other machinery separately along with specification suitable to produce 10000 bricks/day.

3.                    Total time to complete the project.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR QUOTATIONS (COMMERCIAL BIDDING):

1.                    Your quotations should reach the office of Director, MSME-DI, Cuttack) on or before    29.2.2008 till 04.00 Hrs.

2.                    The envelope containing quotations should be sealed and superscribed clearly as ‘QUOTATIONS FOR VERTICLA SHAFT BRICK KILN TECHNOLOGY/EQUIPMENTS FOR MEME-DI, CUTTACK” to be opened on 29.2.2008  at 04.00.

3.                    The offer should remain valid for a period of 180 days from the date of opening of quotation.

4.                    The prices should be indicated in Indian Currency item-wise according to the list.  Since the goods/plants are required to be delivered in and around Cuttack, you should quote accordingly.

5.                    Amount of ST, CST, Central Excise, Octroi, etc. which are applicable, should be quoted clearly specified indicating the rate at which it is charged. (‘C’/’D’ form will be supplied by us).

6.                    The right to reject any or all quotations without assigning any reasons is reserved by the Director of this Institute.

7.                    Since this is a Govt. of India Deptt., payment in advance is not permissible.  However, the payment is made within a reasonable time after receipt, inspection and satisfactory demonstration of goods.

8.                    The manufacturer/supplier has to furnish a guarantee/warrantee certificate that the said goods/equipments would continue to conform to the description and quality as aforesaid for a period of one year after the goods have been accepted by us of a period of 15 months after the delivery of the goods/equipments whichever is early.

9.                    All payments shall be quoted and will be made in Indian Currency only.
